How to Control RGB LED Without programing using ESP32 & WLED by WTC Zone
To make an RGB LED light controlled using an ESP32 DevKit and the WLED mobile app, follow these steps:
What You’ll Need
- ESP32 DevKit (Any model)
- RGB LED (Common cathode or common anode)
- Resistors (220 ohms for each LED pin)
- USB cable (for ESP32 programming and power)
- Breadboard and jumper wires
- WLED App (Download for Android or iOS)
Step 1:
Circuit Connection
RGB Led:
- Connect the Common Cathode of the RGB LED to ESP32 GND pins .
- Connect the Red Leg Pin and 12 pins of ESP32.
- Connect the Green Leg Pin and 16 pins of ESP32.
- Connect the Blue Leg Pin and 17 pins of ESP32.
Connect to the PC:
- Use an external Micro USB cable to connect ESP32 to the PC.
